- Abstract
The article discusses the strategies to meaningfully evaluate a multiple-choice assessment and the advantages and disadvantages of using it as an assessment tool. It is not the best way to assess student's knowledge, however, it is useful in examining a large number of students in short period of time. The strategies to make the multiple-choice format more meaningful is explained through error-articulation grid chart, error-classification tally sheet and density test-error analysis chart.
