- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. court case Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association wherein California teacher Rebecca Friedrichs' lawsuit on mandatory fees that violated their freedom of speech and association. The Ninth Circuit Court has favored the union and hoping to send the case straight to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court reviewed the issue and allowed the association fees passed.
