- Abstract
The article focuses on the status of Graduate Work in Speech-Drama-Radio in the Western States. A committee set to work to ascertain the status of work in Speech- Drama-Radio in the western states. Findings of the committee indicate both an increase in the number of institutions in the western states offering advanced degrees in Speech- Drama-Radio, and the number of M.A. and Ph.D. candidates since 1949. The thesis requirement is maintained by approximately two thirds of the institutions. Seven of the twenty-three institutions gave credit for directing theses and problem courses.
