- Title
SENTENCIA GOOGLE SPAIN Y DERECHO AL OLVIDO.
- Authors
ÁLVAREZ RIGAUDIA, CECILIA
- Abstract
The ruling of the European Court of Justice in the case Google vs. the Spanish Data Protection Authority acknowledges the «right to be forgotten» in the Internet. The search engines are now obliged to carry out a balance of the interests at stake on a case by case basis (and without being necessary that the results are deleted from the web source), even if they are located outside the EU, as it is the case of Google Inc.
