- Abstract
This article, published in Angewandte Chemie, discusses the synthesis of two novel Cu(I)/Cu(III) mixed-valence metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) using a redox-non-innocent ligand. The coordination between the mixed-valence metal and the ligand promotes through-bond charge transfer, resulting in semiconducting behavior and multielectron transfer. The research findings are reported by Watchareeya Kaveevivitchai, Teng-Hao Chen, and their colleagues.
