- Abstract
The article discusses a study that investigated the link of occupational animal exposure to incidences of Campylobacteriosis and Cryptosporidiosis-related gastroenteritis in Nebraska from 2005-2015. Data showed that during said period, occupational animal exposure was identified in 16.6% of Campylobacteriosis and 8.7% Cryptosporidiosis cases in Nebraska with cattle as the most commonly-identified animal. Implications to public health practice is also discussed.
