Multi-objective Optimization Design and Verification of Boom of Medium Hydraulic Excavator.
- Abstract
Taking the hydraulic excavator boom as an example, a multi-objective optimization design process for the box structure parts is established. The boom strength and deformation are calculation using software Abaqus, and the thickness of each plate of the boom is optimized using software Isight. Under the condition of satisfying the strength and deformation, a more reasonable plate thickness is obtained, and the weight of the boom is reduced by 8%. The boom after losing weight is subjected to stress test and verification, and the simulation results are consistent with the test results. The results show that the multi-objective optimization design method for the boom of the medium hydraulic excavator is reasonable and feasible, reduces the weight of the boom and effectively reduces costs, which has certain reference significance for the optimization design of other construction machinery.
