Experimental Research on Potential for Maximal Inertia Swing Energy Recovery of Hydraulic Excavator.
- Abstract
To explore the potential and value of maximal inertia swing energy recovery of hydraulic excavators, the hydraulic excavator swing experimental analysis and evaluation are carried out. On the basis of analyzing the working principle and energy loss mechanism of the hydraulic swing system of hydraulic excavators, the energy loss ratio of start-up and brake of maximal inertia swing system is tested and analyzed to explore the influence of factors such as swing angle and load condition on the potential for swing energy recovery. The experimental analysis shows that within the swing range of 90°, the energy recovered from the swing start-up and brake of the hydraulic excavator at different angles and under different load conditions accounts for more than 74% of the output energy of the main pump, and it has a significant potential for swingenergy recovery and energy saving.
