- Abstract
Information about the topics discussed at the Eight International Conference on Urban History is presented. The conference tackled issues underpinning the ports on the border of state in Europe between 1200-1800. The event explained the historical continuities and changes in ports during the Middle Ages and the early modern period in order to understand better the development of ports as border towns across the region.
