The article focuses on the experimental Bible Center Apostolate by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in Ohio, highlighting the concept of inculturation as it is used by American Catholic Church from 1964 to 1971. It considers the impact of the Second Vatican Council on the practices of the Catholic Church in the U.S., focusing particularly on the application of pastoral church functions.
