- Abstract
An essay is presented which focuses on the Collective Redress Recommendation on common principles for the antitrust damages adopted by the European Commission in 2013 to protect the breach of rights under European Union (EU) competition law and also consumer protection and environment protection. It mentions the contrast of collective redress mechanisms initiatives with the U.S. class action system. It also mentions Great Britain's Consumer Act as an ambitious collective regime.
