- Abstract
The article focuses on legal history behind enactment of the Third Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Topics discussed include the role of Third Amendment in protecting the right of privacy of American citizens, the role of Third Amendment in limiting the state police officers, and role of the Third Amendment in creation of the Bill of Rights. It further discusses the role of Third Amendment in quartering of soldiers in private houses.
