The article focuses on similar constructions named Universal Concessive Conditional clauses (UCC) and Wh-Indefinite Pronominals (WIP) in Bulgarian and Macedonian, two closely-related Balkan Slavic languages. Topics discussed include an overview of UCC and WIP, their differences in terms of internal syntactic form, external syntactic behavior and the role and functions of the various constituent elements of the constructions.
