The article discusses the construction of the precast concrete fish dock in Neah Bay, Washington to revive the economy of the Makah Reservation tribe. Topics mentioned include the 65-year old dock became dilapidated that fish from fishing vessels had to be forklifted, the suggestion of project engineer T. J. Schilling of prime consultant BergerABAM on using precast concrete for the dock and trestle, and the opening of the project in October 2014 and the plan to build an extension.
