- Abstract
The article discusses Travellers' Diarrhoea (TD), which refers to the most common disease observed in travellers and is caused by various organisms. Information on the prevalence of TD is provided. Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa are considered high risk areas for TD. Escherichia coli, Salmonella shigella, and campylobacter are some of the organisms that cause TD. Vaccines against food and water borne diseases are recommended for preventing TD.
