- Authors
Willis, Ian
- Abstract
The article focuses on the rural-urban fringe of Sydney, New South Wales which is in conflict on land use and ownership of identity. It states that with the movement of fringe across the countryside it will become a disputed site between locals and outsiders on displacement, dispossession and disempowerment. It mentions that the identity of Camden, New South Wales is re-shaped and its representatives are used as tourist guides, business promotion and political weapons to protect rural heritage.
