- Abstract
The most significant variables of water quality of possible impacts of silviculture managements in four hydrographic micro-basins are analyzed. Thirty variables of water quality have been monitored between January and June 2012. Data collection occurred after silviculture activities or after rainfall. The physical and chemical characteristics of water were related to the influence of soil-climate factors, silviculture management and current legislation. Results underwent multivariate statistics to identify the most significant variables of water quality. Results show that the most representative variables in water quality variation are related to the soil's natural elements, such as minerals, solids and acidity, and to geographic aspects, such as salinity. According to the management method employed, silviculture activities did not affect variables of hydric quality employed under these conditions.
