- Abstract
The article focuses on the success of health benefits of wearable devices based on individual encouragement, social competition and collaboration and effective feedback mechanism. Topics discussed include the gap between recording information and changing behavior, an overview health-related behaviors influenced by these devices, and the role of the workplace in facilitating these changes. The result of a survey among users of wearable devices is also discussed.
