- Abstract
In order to produce antibacterial wool wadding online, the effect of PES ( polyether modified polyester ) heat-bonded powder, the particle size and adding proportion of chitosan on antibacterial property, air permeability and tenacity of wool wadding were studied. The results showed that good antibacterial property and air permeability wool warm wadding can be obtained online when the amount of ZC-901-1 PES heat-bonded powder as 10% of fiber net, water-soluble chitosan as 11% of heat-bonded powder. The inhibitory rate was 92. 1% and 89. 2% respectively to Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus .
