- Abstract
A letter published in the Australasian Psychiatry journal discusses a study conducted by Bailey, Knowles, and Grenyer on the potential of telehealth-based therapy for patients with personality disorders. The study involved 20 mental health professionals and found that the clinicians considered the telehealth intervention acceptable and effective. However, the study had limitations, such as only involving clinicians and not distinguishing between different types of personality disorders. The authors suggest that future studies should assess patient outcomes, investigate different personality disorders separately, and include long-term follow-up.
