- Abstract
The article focuses on the development of integrated management systems (IMS) in the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Serbia. It states that business competition influences the strategies in business such as business operations and orientation towards consumer satisfaction. It mentions that competition led to the process of integration of management systems which aims to create a business that can comply on customers needs. It concludes that setting up clusters to strengthen market competencies and the implementation of international standards including Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OSHAS).
