- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 4-year-old female Richardson's ground squirrel, Spermophilus richardsonii, that has spontaneous cutaneous mast cell tumor (MCT) with lymph node metastasis. The presence of vimentin, mast cell tryptase and c-kit were determined through immunohistochemistry. The neoplasm metastasized a month after diagnosis.
