- Title
Fertilizer Uptake, Partitioning, and Recovery in Container-Grown Common Hackberry (Celtis occidentalis) Trees.
- Authors
Werner, L. P.; Jull, L. G.
- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to measure fertilizer recovery, describe fertilizer nitrogen partitioning patterns, and assess the effect of fertilization on the aboveground nitrogen status in common hackberry trees. It notes that in the methodology, recovery rates were quantified and that native soil was utilized as the rooting media for better landscape soil simulation. It also relates the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards for the landscape tree fertilization.
