- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigates the challenges endured by clinicians providing families in palliative care. The Family Focused Grief Therapy (FFGT) Model; a manualized, empirically supported intervention was employed during the study. The study findings shows therapist adherence to the interventions and assessment of the family meetings for evaluating psychosocial morbidity. It proposes to employ trained social workers or psychologists to deliver family therapy.
