- Abstract
The article discusses a court case wherein Cosmetic Ideas Inc. has sued InterActiveCorp (IAC) of copyright infringement of its costume jewelry Lady Caroline Lorgnette. According to IAC, Cosmetic did not posses a valid copyright registration of the jewelry when it filed the case. Moreover, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has held the receipt by the U.S. Copyright Office of Cosmetic's complete application and granted to dismiss the case due toInteractiveCorp's claim.
