The article examines the U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding the licensing agreement case "LG Electronics Inc. V. Bizcom Electronics Inc." in the U.S. The licensing practices in the semiconductor industry was taken into account as well as the doctrine of patent exhaustion. Several cases involving Intel Corp. were also mentioned.
