- Abstract
The article looks at the application of the Conflict Cycle model in the New York City school system for informing behavior management and developing positive behavior support and assessment. Particular focus is given to the six significant teachings and learnings connected with the Conflict Cycle, including self-concept and irrational beliefs, brain research, and functional behavior assessments. The role of adults to a student's inappropriate behavior is also discussed.
