- Abstract
The article examines how the Developmental Audit is used in juvenile justice, mental health, and education for the strength-based assessment of vulnerable children and youth. The authors discuss the case of an 11-year old boy named Ronnie who was arrested and charged with the murder of his two-year-old cousin and held in a secure mental health facility. The authors stress that the Developmental Audit was the main piece of evidence to support the case that Ronnie should be treated as a child.
