- Abstract
The article focuses on the transitional programs of the Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) which aims to reach the students in the Appalachian counties in Kentucky. It states that the programs are funded through the Appalachian Tutoring Grant awarded to the EKU Office of Services for Individuals with Disabilities by the Kentucky Department of Education. It highlights the educational programs of EKU which include transition information for high school juniors, academic coaching and individualized tutoring.
