- Authors
Hollin, Clive R.
- Abstract
In devising the Aggression Replacement Training(ART) a wealth of theory and research evidence has been put to work and the aim of the article is to introduce and describe this theory of ART and research. ART is about working to reduce aggression and violence. There are three components of ART, skills training, emotional control training and moral reasoning training. It shows that ART has solid theoretical base and is clearly associated with cognitive behavioral therapeutic methods of practice, such as skills training and anger management.
