- Title
Previability Abortion and the Pain of the Unborn.
- Authors
Collett, Teresa S.
- Abstract
The article discusses previability abortions and allegations of fetal pain as of 2014, focusing on the apparent passage of Pain-Capable Child Protection Acts in several American states which place limits on when an abortion can be performed. Bans on partial-birth abortions are addressed, along with a "conscious appreciation of pain" and late term abortions. Fetal development and abortion-related legal cases involving parties such as the Women’s Medical Professional Corp. are examined.
