- Abstract
This article, titled "EP06.36: Prenatal predictors of survival and pulmonary hypertension in isolated congenital diaphragmatic hernia undergoing expectant management: a systematic review and meta-analysis," aims to investigate prenatal predictors of survival, persistent pulmonary hypertension (PHTN), and the need for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in fetuses with isolated congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) undergoing prenatal expectant management. The study conducted a systematic search and included 48 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that several imaging index tests, including lung measurements, intrathoracic liver, and stomach position, appeared to be good predictors for survival and the need for ECMO. However, further research is needed to evaluate other index tests.
