- Abstract
This article explores the relationship between birth outcomes and zygosity in dichorionic diamniotic (DCDA) twin pregnancies. The study collected data from pregnant women with DCDA twins and assessed zygosity and fetal fraction (FF) in cell-free DNA (cfDNA). The results showed that the birthweight of monozygotic (MZ) twins was lower than that of dizygotic (DZ) twins. However, the discordance of FFs in cfDNA in DZ twins was not associated with birthweight discordance. This study provides valuable insights into the factors influencing birth outcomes in DCDA twin pregnancies.
