- Abstract
The article offers information on malaria advisory for British travelers going to or coming from malaria prone countries in Africa and South Asia especially to higher risk people including infants, pregnant women, and older people. It mentions the different types of malaria that affect human including Plasmodium vivax (P. vivax), P. ovale, and P. falciparum, which is the most fatal species. Information on risk assessment, bite prevention guidelines, and chemoprophylaxis is also presented. INSET: KEY POINTS.
