- Title
Finding Conspirators in the Network via Machine Learning.
- Authors
Fangjian Guo; Jiang Su; Jian Gao
- Abstract
The article focuses on a mathematical method of using machine learning to estimate the probability of criminal involvement among individuals in a fictional company. The authors made several assumptions, including the linear separation between conspirators and non-conspirators and the leader of the conspirators' attempt to minimize risk by limiting direct contacts. They modeled the probability of conspiracy as a sigmoid function of a linear combination of the node's features.
