The objectives of these courses was different from the usual type of science courses, they were designed as overview in character rather than basic specialized training. For the construction of reliable and valid examination, individuals familiar with the technical aspects of test construction were involved. But they were not versed with the content of the subject matter field. To achieve the cooperation, an assistant was taken from the subject matter department upon the recommendation of the instructor of the course. This assistant was supposed to work in conjunction with the instructor and test technician. The method adopted for the construction of the test is also explained in the article.
