- Abstract
The article, number 2100909, by Robin Schäublin and co-workers, describes thermally treated Fe-Cr model alloys investigated mainly by transmission electron microscopy, revealing ' precipitates (bottom-right inset). Artistic view depicting what will happen inside steels in future fusion reactors: heat and atomic displacements due to neutron irradiation can induce Cr-rich ' precipitates causing embrittlement.
