- Abstract
The article presents a literary criticism of novel "Sultekunstnerinde" by Lotte Inuk. It explores gendered dimension of the imposed identities lies at the root of identity crisis and awareness of limited agency as a preadolescent girl manifest as a life-threatening eating disorder. It mentions novel presents specific social-political developments within the context of Danish colonialism that function as a background for the lived experience of the main protagonist in Greenland.
