- Abstract
The article presents a summary of parental responses concerning the attainment of objectives of the summer gardening program. The survey showed parental acceptance of the gardening program and its objectives in the garden and classroom. The parental responses validified the citizenship and responsibility roles of the student in proceeding on his own. The survey also showed that parents believed that the school gardening programs should be made available to all children. Furthermore, parents believed that gardening is a worthy program well placed for its constructive use of leisure time during summer.
