- Abstract
This research aims to examine the opinions of the classroom teachers and the parents about resource room practices, one of the special education services received by inclusive students with special needs. The research was carried out in schools that have resource rooms, with the participation of 25 classroom teachers working in the resource room and 25 parents. The research was carried out within the scope of the case study design, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Researchers used the semi-structured interview technique included in qualitative research for the study, and the data were collected through face-to-face interviews. The results of the study show that most of the schools where classroom teachers work do not have a resource room, that most of the teachers use the lecture method in the teaching process and that the majority of the teachers do not have enough knowledge of the legislation.
