- Abstract
The article offers information on the insecticidal compounds used for controlling cowpea bruchid. Cowpea bruchid is a pest of stored cowpea grain. A study was conducted using an artificial seed system to determine the possible compound which will help manage bruchid resistance. It is learned that cowpea bruchid do more damage when the grain is in storage. The study shows that pyramiding of toxins is an effective way for bruchid resistance. Pyramiding of toxins will also increase the commercial life of protein in the grain.
