- Abstract
The objective of this research was to analyze how the process of mediation of learning and child development occurs in the pedagogical practices of a social-interactionist school in Alegrete, RS. Methodologically, the research has a qualitative and descriptive approach, and its technical procedures are characterized as a case study, in which nonparticipant observation and semi-structured interviews were adopted as instruments for data collection. Among the results found, it can be concluded that the social interactionist school values the play and the social interaction as the main source of the construction of the subjects, promoting spaces of continuous formation for the teachers to appropriate the proposal.
