- Abstract
The editorial article "Waste, Remains, and Traces in Design and Art" addresses hyperproductivity and the accumulation of waste in contemporary design and art. It mentions the pollution of the oceans by plastics and the impact on marine fauna and flora, as well as the presence of tons of waste in the Atacama Desert in Chile. The issue of space debris orbiting around the Earth is also mentioned. The article raises the question of whether it is possible to commercialize residuality and seeks to explore the relationship between sustainability and hyperproductivity. Additionally, three articles are presented that address post-sustainable design from different perspectives, including the ontology of digital design, life at risk from art and posthumanist perspective, and cooking as a space of intimacy and experimentation with biomaterials from a feminist perspective.
