- Abstract
The article focuses on the challenges of conducting field research in schools for language teaching and learning, as well as foreign language didactics. Topics include collaboration between science and schools for progress in professional practice, but data collection in schools is often complicated due to concerns from school leaders, and teachers; and conducting research in schools and calls for more guidance on topic in educational handbooks and introductory books on empirical research.
