- Authors

- Abstract
The article presented in this issue of I BJOG i by Dr Hammond-Browning ( I BJOG i 2019;126:1320-26) evaluates the selection criteria established by the UK's uterine transplant programme. The UK selection criteria and those of the established research protocols are similar regarding rigorous medical history and psychological screening criteria to maximise the chance of success of the surgery, supporting the patient through the process, and carrying a healthy term pregnancy. Dr Hammond-Browning outlines expanded recommendations for selection standards if mainstream implementation of uterine transplant occurs based on current UK legislature and accepted practice.
