- Abstract
The article presents research pertaining to French anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss and French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan and the concepts of structuralism and psychoanalysis in relation to art and human actions. The author discusses Lévi-Strauss and his theory that any human actions are based on unconscious systematic articulation levels and Lacan, who bases his approach on the concepts of pleasure and reality. Topics of discussion include the structural analysis of myths, symbolism, and art and the relationship between nature and culture.
