- Abstract
The purpose of this experiment was to establish the characteristic chromatogram of the feed plant rosemary extract by High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), providing a new method for the identification and quality control of rosemary extract. A Sunfire C18 chromatographic column was used as liquid chromatography condition, with acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid water as the mobile phase, a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, an injection volume of 10 µL, a column temperature of 25 ℃, and a detection wavelength of 280 nm. Selected 8 peaks with good separation and peak shape from 15 batches of rosemary extract chromatograms as characteristic peaks, and obtained the HPLC characteristic chromatogram of rosemary extract. A total of 8 characteristic peaks were identified in the HPLC characteristic chromatogram of rosemary extract, and three chromatographic peaks of rosmarinic acid, Carnosic acid and Carnosol were identified. The characteristic chromatogram of rosemary extract established in the experiment has achieved stable quality control and can provide reference for the quality evaluation of rosemary extract.
