- Abstract
As an agricultural country, China has a large vegetable planting area and high yield. In the process of vegetable production and processing, a large number of vegetable wastes are also produced. These vegetable wastes are often discarded in the field, which not only causes a waste of resources, but also causes environmental pollution. Vegetable wastes are rich in water, minerals and animal protein, dietary fiber, sugar and other nutrients. The utilization of vegetable wastes feed can promote the development of unconventional feed resources in our country and alleviate the problem of feed shortage. It can also reduce environmental pollution through resource utilization and harmless treatment, and have considerable economic, ecological and social benefits. This paper summarizes the general situation of vegetable wastes in our country, nutritional value of vegetable wastes and feed technology research and application status quo, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of feed physical, chemical and biotechnology of vegetable wastes in our country, and prospects its development trend, so as to provide theoretical references for resource utilization technology research of vegetable wastes.
