- Abstract
The article focuses on the cost effectiveness and cost utility methods used for economic evaluation of human African trypanosomiasis (HAT), Chagas disease and leishmaniasis. Topics discussed include outcome expressed in disease specific measures for cost effectiveness analyses depends on the costs and existence of an effective intervention which may becomes problematic, outcomes expressed in generic measures in cost utility analyses and ecosystemic peridomicile management for vector control.
