- Abstract
This paper examines the role of charismatic leadership behavior and commitment toward the employee satisfaction as well as the performance of employees in financial services Bank PD BPR in West Java, Indonesia. The research used quantitative methods. The technique of sampling in this research is the systemic random sampling, by taking a sample of 212 employees such as Director, Director of operations, and Chief of the section on the Rural Bank (PD BPR) in West Java. The method used is Path Analysis. The results of this research show that the charismatic leadership behaviors both directly and indirectly influential and significant against the employee job satisfaction and employee performance. The commitment of the organization either directly or indirectly, and significantly affects job satisfaction and employee performance. The research findings depict that to improve the performance of the employees, the charismatic leadership and behavior requiring the high commitment of the employees, and the management should consider the satisfaction of the employees especially in the Rural Bank (PD BPR) in West Java, Indonesia.
